Sauber on a recruitment drive
BMW preparing for 2006 with Sauber
BMW recruiting key people for aero work
BMW announced on June 22nd that they had concluded a deal to take over a majority stake in the Sauber Petronas team and run the outfit under their own banner in 2006.
With just six months to prepare for their debut as a fully-fledged constructor, BMW are now on a recruitment drive for the Sauber team.
BMW are looking to build up a 'new' team for 2006, recruiting additional personnel to strengthen the existing team. Various key positions need to be filled.
Amongst those positions currently being advertised on the Sauber Petronas web site are, Head of Aerodynamics, Senior Aerodynamicist, Aerodynamicist, CFD Aerodynamicist, Model Designer and Model Maker.
Clearly BMW are pushing hard to build on the performance of the final all-Sauber design, the C24.
