F1: Raikkonen sets the pace at Valencia
Valencia - Friday - Testing
Impressive performance by Raikkonen
Kimi Raikkonen set an impressive fastest lap at Valencia today, the McLaren driver going under the 1’10 barrier with a time of 1’09”976, the quickest lap of the week at the Spanish track.
Renault, Red Bull and MF1 were also in action. Coulthard was the only Red Bull driver on the track while Renault counted on Giancarlo Fisichella and Heikki Kovalainen for their final day of work at Valencia.
MF1 Racing was the only team with three drivers on hand. Tiago Monteiro continued the development work and the new M16, while Christijan Albers and Adrian Sutil settled for last year’s EJ15B.
